WB2K1/KGJWFBL Cliff's Notes I
Hey guys, my name is Cliff Rancho and this is my own column! Doesn't
it rock! Do you like the title? I wanted 'Studly's Notes', but Commish
Creighton made me take 'Cliff's Notes' instead. Shouldn't there be
something more though? Like, 'Cliff Notes About the WB2k1 vs. KGJWFBL
Games' or something similar? Oh well, the name is set, the graphic
is made, and I can't say anything more or Creighton is going to
have Dr. Rapp do it instead. I wonder if they would still name it
'Cliff's Notes'...
So the first game is in about a week and the teams
are not even set yet. The KGJWFBL doesn't have its final pick for
the 5th spot. This is because they are unorganized losers who can't
run a real wiffle ball league.
WB2k1 is having a little trouble finding it's 4th and 5th spots
also. The spots are supposed to go to Seth Yoder and Luke Carriere,
but both are not 'for sures' just yet. The
word that I'm getting is that Terry Creighton and whoever else comes
along with fill the spot if both Yoder and Carriere don't show up.
Let's hope Eric Christensen isn't that last guy.
Here is someone who would make a good spot...James
Vassar! Just picture it: It's high noon, all the KGJWFBL players
are hanging around the...wiffle foam baseball field when they hear
the noise that will be the beginning of the end. It sounds like
rumbling, roughly 200 yards away. It's getting louder and louder,
the players are getting worried, "What the heck is that?"
they ask. Soon the sound turns the corner and they see it. James'
car! It was the muffler that has scared the KGJWFBL players poopless.
All the WB2k1 players gets out of the car and the psychology factor
is already on their side. Victory will be ours..err, I mean theirs!

Run for the Sega Dreamcast! It's so fun! Try it, you won't be disappointed...
Anyway, let's me think of any other notes from Cliff...
Well, if you visit the non-celebrity picks, you
will notice that I didn't give my opinion. Then you will probably
think, "well, it must be in the celebrity picks because Cliff
is a celebrity!" Well, you are right in that part, but it's
not going to be there either. Do you know why? I'm asking because
I sure as heck don't! The webmasters won't get away without my opinion!
So tell your friends because Cliff is on the mic:
I think that the KGJWFBL league is going to suck
against WB2k1. They have never seen how low Scott Carmichael can
throw! Or how well Joey Creighton can hit opposite way. Plus, if
James is there, my god!!! The SF group's ERA are all way above WB2k1's
as well. So this means that WB2k1 will strike them out all the time
and they will hit every pitch these guys give them.

Yeah, so these are all the notes that I, Cliff Rancho
have. If I could talk about the regular WB2k1 league, I would say
that James Vassar is back and is going to kick everyone's ass this
upcoming gameday...but I can't write about that stuff so I won't.
