As most probably already know, Clint Wattenberg was a veteran of the league, joining during the wonderful 1997 season
and retiring shortly after the 2001 season. In 2003 he was brought on as a writer of great controversy. Despite all his
agents warning against it, Clint strong-armed our web crew to publish his first article, a bio-mechanics study that
compared throwing sidearm versus overhard and its effects on ball velocity and elbow and shoulder joint angles. The
over-the-top article made many wild claims such as sidearm throwing reduced risk of injury without resulting in a major
loss in ball velocity. He then followed that firebomb with an equally insane review on Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for the
Playstation 2 that nearly got us all fired. To avoid future problems, Clint was soon let go. He no longer writes articles
for any wiffleball sites (that we know of) but he does still consume a great deal of food.
It should be noted Clint actually scripted a beautiful article in early 1999 about the future of wiffleball.
We can only assume it was Pulitzer-worthy, for it has been lost forever.
