After penning a total of two columns in 1999 (completely lost, by the way), Mark Montgomery had the
extreme misfortune of having to live with the then-Commissioner during the
2000 season. We could sit here all day and try to figure out if the three articles and three days
of game summaries that were given to us by Mark in 2000 were crafted carefully with love, or if they were
quickly scribbled while the Commish applied a full-nelson. It's all speculation nowadays, but Mark
did write the articles, and we're going to reprint them here without his permission, cause that's
how we roll. Mark also lived with the Commissioner during the 2001, 2002, and 2003 seasons, yet he
somehow was able to escape the whining and pleading enough to grace us with a grand total of zero
columns. So enjoy what we were able to get.
