This
page
will
not
hold
them
all.
Scott
Carmichael
was,
inarguably,
the
best
player
this
league
was
fortunate
enough
to
see.
Not
simply
fire,
not
simply
ice,
Scott
was
both.
He'd
burn
you
if
you
made
a
sliver
of
a
mistake,
he'd
freeze
you
with
the
high
cheese.
You
put
the
ball
in
play
when
Scott
was
on
the
mound,
you
feel
like
you
had
a
good
day.
If
you
managed
to
get
on
base
against
him,
you
ponder
retiring
while
on
top.
His
career
marks
read
like
a
roll
of
honor;
league
record
holder
in
virtually
every
single
category,
4-time
MVP,
4-time
Cy
Young,
2001
Champion,
first
roof-shot,
and,
of
course,
2002
Best
Looking.
Scott
was
the
closest
thing
we
had
to
a
flawless
entity.
On
top
of
all
that,
he
was
the
co-founder
of
the
league,
which
grants
him
the
#1
spot
in
our
Hall
of
Fame.
