To start off with the design, it's 2005, but their design is maybe...year 2001 at the latest. Rounded corners, nice bright blue colors and stupid JavaScript are not in style anymore. And it sure as hell isn't retro yet. To give you an idea of how up-to-date they are, the font of style they're using for their links and titling is the same font we used back in 2000. Now, I'm not surprised when I see it on small little sites in Indiana, but these guys are pretty legit in the world of wiffleball.
The good part of the site is their database for leagues and players but the only problem is that anybody can sign up. There are no restrictions. Which just means those sections are going to become polluted with pointless entries and stupid leagues that serve no point. It's like the
Wiffleball Network database. Have fun searching for links on that site and have fun searching for leagues on the NEWA site.
They serve a big purpose in supplying people a decent area to find out about tournaments, but set such a low standard with their website.
Final Say: Unless you want to spend $100 per person to play against arrogant wiffleball players, don't bother.
