Description
Judge TMC:
This site is filled with content and has a good little history to their group. Problem is their site design also have some years on it too. No one is impressed with your wiffleball background. Please get rid of it, it's ugly and stupid. And if that is the best logo they can think of, they really need to consider spending more than 3 minutes next time they're making a logo (which is tentatively scheduled for 2008).

What these guys do have is a big tournament AND a big league. Congrats to them for that, it must take a lot of work. Their league stats are nothing to scream about, but actually more than I thought. They have awards shown and have a good history to go along with it. I would like to see some more about the players, instead of just names, but it's still more than most have.

Hopefully they turn the page over to somebody who has some ambition to turn it into something big, cause then it could be the shit.

Final Say: Hopefully they keep working on the site....hopefully

Judge JRC:
Turners Wiffleball League's website has been around for quite some time now yet they've still avoided the opportunity to change *anything.* Content moves around...but the site's looked exactly as it does now for years. It's a prolific league, boastng 3 annual leagues and an annual tournament (all slow-pitch, though). We can admire that kind of production.

The site itself is very impersonal though. They essentially treat is as a dumping ground for objective, no-nonsense info. If you're gonna spend the time to put together a website for *wiffleball* at least know that the last thing it should be is "no-nonsense." They have lots of stats, but I can't get into it because it's layed out so uninterestingly. You see 900 names but you don't care about any of them because there's nothing here to make you care about them. The only guy I remember is this guy on the team that wins a bunch of tourneys, mainly because he looks like a monster. How about a feature on him and his hideousness? As a viewer I'd be hooked. I know I know...too hard, right?

They've played a bunch of tournaments, but the only info you can ellicit from each year of games is who won. No stats, no video, only one picture (of the winning team holding a trophy). It's as if their target audience are the 50 or so guys who played in the tournament. Their navigation system can easily be trimmed, and someone should do it immediately. It should also be reordered into some sort of cohesive list, rather than the random mess it is as I write this. If the price was right, I'd do it for them!

Final Say: The price isn't right, and likely never will be right, so i hope somebody else helps out a site that has the content to be something good.
