Notes:
Commish Creighton made a huge blunder with the trio of Anthony Sanzone, Hart McKenzie, and Chris Keefer, allowing them to be drafted despite none of the three participating in Winterball or showing any semblance or interest at all. Anthony and Hart were probably the least interested of the three, but they had talent and the Commish was desperate. Taking the Commish's word was Darnell Uhland, who drafted Anthony #1 in the 2002 draft despite never having seen the guy.

Anthony proceeded to play like a typical #1 draft pick...for about 5 games. Then he just stopped showing up and stopped answering his cell. Which is a shame because the guy would have put up eye-opening offensive numbers. To his credit, Anthony did become the first player in the league to openly smoke between games, leading to many awkard silences which probably didn't help keep his interest from plummeting. As a pitcher Anthony was nothing special. What is special is the insane .531 OAvg he accumulated despite a relatively decent 4.24 ERA. He averaged surrenduring three basehits per inning yet somehow only gave up 6 ERs in 5.2 IP. Now THAT'S impressive.
