Notes: One of the more likable and dedicated rookies the league saw, despite not knowing many within the league. John was brought in as a classmate
of Curtis Henning and after showing competent skills, was placed on the Playerz. Team captain Matt Holmberg skipped town after two gamedays and Keith Carlson only
made it out to one gameday, so for most of the season is was just John and Matt Smith. The two rookie strangers formed a bond during those early season games, never missing
gamedays and keeping the Playerz' heads above water.
John's numbers don't look particularly apetizing, but he was a decent player. Swung and missed a lot, but he had a good glove and despite his 5.02 ERA, showed occassional
flashes of brilliance while on the mound. It seemed he came from the Dean Evans school of pitching, looking great for 3 innings and then getting shelled for 5 runs in his final
frame of the day. Above all else he enjoyed the game and people appreciated that.
