Notes: One of about 37 other names who strolled through our league, picked up about 50 ABs, and were never heard from again. When trying to guess
the reasons for Kyle's departure, I remain stumped, though my mind keeps returning to a particular gameday. It was in May, I believe, a doubleheader between
the Horsemen and the Holy Whites. The Whites were being represented by only Kyle and Scott Carmichael. The Horsemen had Joey Creighton, Seth Yoder, and John Deatrick
in the house. Oh yeah, and both games were played in a complete Chico-style downpour. The result? Two 1-0 games, both going 8 innings (IIRC). I *believe* that was Kyle's
last time out. Rain'll do that to ya. If players can make it to gamedays after June hits, chances are they're in for the long haul.
As a result, Kyle's pitching numbers look much better than reality would suggest, since over half his innings came during that hail-storm. You could also jack his batting
numbers up a little, had he stuck around. Brought back memories of a Dean Evans-type, though probably with a bit more power.
