Notes:
We've already run through this guy's career so many times it's all redundant by now, so I'm just gonna peruse through his career list and pick out a few of the more hilarious/inspiring numbers:

2002: 0.10 HR/4 IP
I can't decide which season of Scott's pitching is more impressive, his 2001 season or his 2002 season. On one hand, the talent pool was much larger/better in 2001, so to finish with the numbers he did (.151 OAvg, 0.59 ERA, 11-1 record) is amazing. In 2002 the talent wasn't as great, but one thing keeps pulling me back in--the fact that Scott gave up only ONE HOMERUN all season.

1997: 0-1 W-L record from the mound
How did he pick up a loss when he didn't give up any runs in his 5 IP? Our stats are FULL of errors, but I find this one particularly amusing.

2001: 61.54 Pit Rating
It's easier to top 50.00 in pitching than it is in hitting. 50.00 has been topped numerous times for pitchers but only twice by batters (Scott's infamous 1999 season and Bill Rozak's 2003 season). Now topping 60.00 for a pitcher, on the other hand, has been done only once. Almost twice (Scott had a 58.87 the next season).

1994: 27 RBIs
Seriously...27 RBIs while hitting only five homeruns. In the modern era, it was rare to find someone with > 2.00 RBI/HR ratio. In 1994, Scott's ratio was 5.40. The very next season his ratio was 1.38.

1994-2003: 5 3Bs
Including three in a row from 2001-2003.

2001-2003: Consistency
Entering the 2001 season, Scott had a career AB/K ratio of 4.85. In 2001 his season AB/K ratio was 4.85. In 2002 it was 4.85. In 2003 it was 4.84. Earlier in his career he had ratios of 4.80, 4.79, 4.71, and 4.67. And people think *I* was consistent.
