Eric Christensen: 2003 - now

The following is what's been going on with Eric Christensen since the end of the league, in his own words.

"Since reluctantly accepting the closing of the Smith Brothers Wiffleball franchise in 2003, Eric Christensen has had a hard time finding acceptance in a world without Sunday league games and constant humiliation. Though the league was his love and dedication, Eric felt wiffleball was not the place for him in his future. If anything, his calendar centerfolds were an eye-opener for his real talents as a ladies man and a poster child for the average and genuine American.

"Eric is attending the ever so acclaimed (by MTV and Playboy) California State University Chico, who generously put more money into their party prevention than their academics. He has become a member of their nationally acclaimed waterski team and is an addicted wakeboarder. When he's not cutting it up on the water he's studying to be a physical therapist. Eric strives to help as many people as possible after seeing the detrimental effects of injuries to dedicated athletes during his wiffleball career. However, fed up with excessive rules and campus police-brutality, Eric took the time to travel the world and reside periodically in Australia. Eric's maturity and cultural knowledge continued to grow while abroad and he realized he needed to do all he could to change the world's view of Bush America.

"Eric brought to Australia the game of wiffleball and taught it to a variety of students from different cultures and periodically held competitive pick up games outside the city of Melbourne. For once Eric was a star in the field and at plate. Although stats were never recorded, he is confident he held a much more respectable ERA. The horsemen would have been proud, and he thanks his teammates for all they bestowed in him. From their knowledge and love for the game to most of all never giving up on him! Presently Eric is back in his hometown of Chico in his last leg of college and continues to follow his wakeboarding path and be an active member in the community.

"Cheers, Mate."
